PURCHASE, NY - Taking on the most important event on their schedule, the Yeshiva Men's Cross Country Team competed in the Skyline Conference Championships, finishing sixth on Sunday, Oct. 26th.
Before the meet, the Maccabees took the chance to thank their graduating seniors, honoring:

Daniel Simon,
David Deutsch, and
Benjamin Coplin.
The Macs faced off against 10 other Skyline Teams, running alongside: The United States Merchant Marine Academy, St. Joseph's University Long Island, Farmingdale State College, Manhattanville University, Maritime College, St. Joseph's University Brooklyn, Purchase College, Sarah Lawrence College, The College at Old Westbury, and Mount Saint Mary College in the Men's 8k.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- As a team, the Maccabees finished sixth of 11 teams with a score of 179, beating out SJBK, Purchase, Sarah Lawrence, Old Westbury, and Mount Saint Mary.
- On an individual level, the Macs were led by Jacob Rabinovitch, with the captain finishing 36th at a time of 31:02.9.
- Placing right behind his teammate, Avishai Jutkowitz finished 37th with a time of 31:06.4.
- Also crossing the ticker tape in the top 50 runners, Tarenyika placed 42nd with a time of 31:39.2, and Daniel Simon placed 47th with a time of 32:15.0.
- Rounding out the field for the Macs, Eliezer Siklos finished 63rd at 34:56.8, Diner finished 70th at 35:54.5, Joshua Kohn finished 71st at 36:02.1, and Werta finished 85th at 40:12.3.
