OLD WESTBURY, NY - Closing out their fall slate, the Yeshiva Men's Cross Country Team competed in the Old Westbury Halloween Invitational, finishing first on Friday, Oct. 31st.
 
The Maccabees ran against a pair of Skyline opponents, lining up alongside both The College at Old Westbury and Maritime College.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• As a team, the Maccabees finished first overall, beating out both Old Westbury and Maritime with a score of 30.
   
• On an individual level, the Maccabees were led by Synatra Tarenyika, with the graduate student finishing second behind a time of 14:50.
   
• Also finishing in the top five, Jacob Rabinovitch placed 3rd with a time of 15:10, and Avishai Jutkowitz placed fifth with a time of 15:32.
   
• Rounding out the field for the Macs, Moshe Sitzer finished seventh, Aharon Cohen finished 13th, Jacob Rothman finished 17th, Jonathan Werta finished 19th, and David Deutsch finished 21st.
