MILTON, NY - Competing in their first conference meet of the season, the Yeshiva Men's Cross Country Team took part in the MSMC Invitational, hosted by Mount Saint Mary College on Sunday, Sept. 14th.
 
Seeing competition from across the region in the 8000 meters, the Maccabees ran against: St. Thomas Aquinas College, Dominican University, Hunter College, the Borough of Manhattan Community College, the University of Mount Saint Vincent and Hostos Community College.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Macs were led by two back-to-back finishers, with Joshua Kohn placing 31st with a time of 35:39.8, and Moshe Sitzer placing 32nd with a time of 35:53.7.
   
• Also competing for Yeshiva, Jonathan Werta placed 48th with a time of 44:06.4, and David Deutsch placed 54th with a time of 52:38.7

Not running again for two weeks, the Macs will take part in Queensborough Community College's Queensborough Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 28th.
