NEW YORK, N.Y. – This week's Yeshiva University Student-Athletes of the Week are senior defender
Joseph Grobman of the men's soccer team, and junior
Batsheva Lasky of the women's fencing team.
In the final match of the season against Berkeley College (N.Y.), this past Sunday evening, Grobman kicked in the game-tying goal with 1:02 remaining in regulation time. It was the Miami native's first goal of the season.
Lasky won eight epee duels, during the Long Island University Post Invitational, on Sunday. The New Hempstead resident won two out of three battles in Yeshiva's victory over Hunter and went 2-1 against Wagner.
