POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's fencing team competed in the Matt Lampell Hudson River Invitational, hosted by Vassar College, on Sunday afternoon. Yeshiva earned a convincing victory over Marist College, 25-1, while dropping a pair of bouts each to Army (25-2 and 26-1) and host Vassar (24-3 and 26-1). YU also fell to Drew University by a score of 23-4.
In Yeshiva's win over Marist College, junior
Batsheva Lasky won all three of her epee bouts to lead her weapon squad to a 7-2 victory. Sophomore
Michelle Naim and junior
Adina Passy each won two out of three epee battles.
Lasky won 10 total epee duels for the afternoon, including an impressive 2-1 record against Drew. Naim and Passy each produced an epee victory over the Rangers.

Ilana Aidman earned a win in sabre competition over Vassar, while junior
Talya Stehley recorded a foil victory against the Brewers.
The Maccabees will compete in the Drew University Invitational, on Sunday, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
