BRONX – The Yeshiva University men's cross country team competed in the Queensborough Invitational, at Van Cortlandt Park, on Sunday morning. Yeshiva finished seventh overall, in the five-mile race, with 214 points. Monroe College earned first place.
For the Maccabees, senior
Jonathan Greenberg finished eighth overall (out of 124 runners) by completing the race in 30:20.2. He averaged 6:04.1 per mile.
Junior
Avi Bodoff was the 48
nd runner to cross the finish line, with a time of 35:30.3. Senior
Eli Frishman was right behind him, in 50
th place, completing the race in 35:34.5.

th place) also competed for the Maccabees.
Yeshiva will participate in the Br. John "Paddy" Doyle Meet of Champions, hosted by Iona College, at Van Cortlandt Park on Friday. The race is scheduled to begin at 11:45 a.m.
