BRONX, N.Y. - The Yeshiva University men's cross country team participated in the York College (N.Y.) Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park on Sunday morning. As a team, the Maccabees fielded 215 points, placing them seventh among 13 participating colleges.
Leading the way for the Macs was senior Eli Frishman, who finished the 8K race in 33:40.70, placing him 23rd among 100 racers. Shortly behind Frishman was classmate Yosef Pfeffer, who crossed the finish line at 37:29.40, good enough for 42nd place. Rounding out Yeshiva's squad was senior Daniel Elfenbein (39:16.2), junior Aaron Purow (41:00.20), and senior Arie Barkats (42:19.70).
The Macs will next travel to the Hudson Valley Sportsdome to compete in the Skyline Conference Championships on October 31.
