POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's fencing team competed in the Vassar College Invitational, at Walker Field House, on Sunday afternoon. YU dropped team duels to Wagner College (27-0), Denison University (25-2), Fairleigh Dickinson University (14-4), Haverford College (26-1), Sacred Heart University (27-0), Drew University (27-0), and Stevens Institute of Technology (26-1).

Leading the way for the Maccabees was senior Julia Polster, who won five epee bouts. The Skokie native won two out of three bouts against Denison and went undefeated against FDU.

Yeshiva will return to Walker Field House next Sunday for the Matt Lampell Hudson River Invitational. The action begins at 10:00 a.m.
