NEWBURGH, N.Y. - The Yeshiva University golf team opened the spring season by competing in the Mount Saint Mary College (N.Y.) Spring Invitational, at the Powelton Golf Club, on Monday afternoon. Yeshiva finished in eighth place as a team with a score of 429. Clarkson University earned the gold with a team score of 305.
Leading the way for Yeshiva was junior
David Daman who finished tied for 15
th overall with a score of 86. Senior
Seth Forman earned a tie of 30
th place by carding a 92. Junior
Joshua Goldman was right behind him with a score of 95. Newcomer
David Price made his collegiate golf debut during the meet.
Yeshiva will compete in the SUNY Old Westbury Invitational, at the Eisenhower Park Golf Course, on Friday morning. Tee off is scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
