WALTHAM, MA - Traveling up to fellow Jewish institution Brandeis University, the Yeshiva women's fencing team competed in the Brandeis Invitational on Sunday, Dec. 3, putting up solid results.
Competing against some of the top teams in the region, the Maccabees crossed swords with the likes of Wellesley College, Brown University, Brandeis University, The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Tufts University and Cornell University.
At the conclusion of the tournament, the Macs sport a 2-22 record on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Macs struggled against Wellesley, Brown, Brandeis, MIT and Cornell, dropping all five contests by a score of 27-0.
- Yeshiva did manage two duel wins up against Tufts, falling to the Jumbos by a score of 25-2. This matchup proved the squads most successful on the day.
UP NEXT
Returning to Waltham in the new year, the Macs will travel back up to Brandeis on Saturday, Jan. 27 for the Eric Sollee Invitational.
