FARMINGDALE, NY - Taking part in the apex meet of the 2024 season, the Yeshiva Men's Cross Country Team showed out at the Skyline Conference Championship Meet, finishing 7th of 12 teams on Sunday, Nov. 3.
The Maccabees competed alongside runners from the other 11 Skyline programs: The United States Merchant Marine Academy, Maritime College, Mount Saint Mary College, Sarah Lawrence College, St. Joseph's University Long Island, Farmingdale State College, Purchase College, St. Joseph's University Brooklyn, The College at Old Westbury, Mount Saint Vincent University and Manhattanville University.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Much like he has done all season, Sapir Amar was the first blue and white shirt to cross the ticker tape, finishing 32nd with a time of 30:46.5.
- Finishing just seconds behind his teammate, Jacob Rabinovitch placed 36th with a time of 31:14.5.
- Rounding out the field for the Macs, Avishye Moskowitz finished 56th at 34:27.3, Benjamin Coplin finished 66th at 35:18.8 and Jonathan Werta finished 76th at 40:55.1.
