BRONX, NY - Facing off against some of the top programs in the region, the Yeshiva Men's Cross Country team showed out at the Br. John "Paddy" Doyle Meet of Champions.
 
The Maccabees ran alongside their counterparts from Charlotte, Army, Binghamton, Albany, Iona, Molloy and Dominican.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Sapir Amar led the way for the Macs, finishing 59th with a time of 34:55.2.
   
• Menachem Junik also had a solid outing for Yeshiva, placing 65th at 37:54.8.
   
• Rounding out the field for the Maccabees, Avishye Moskowitz finished 68th at 40:52.2, Jonathan Werta finished 69th at 43:10.3 and Noah Diner finished 70th at 45:11.3.

Not competing again until after the holidays, the Maccabees will travel to Mount Saint Mary College on Sunday, Oct. 27.
