CAMBRIDGE, MA - Traveling up to Massachusetts, the Yeshiva Women's Fencing Team took part in the Eric Sollee Invitational at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on Sunday, Feb. 2nd.
The Maccabees faced off against: The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, New York University, Brandeis University, Boston College and Brown University.
With the results, YU's record is now 1-16 on the year.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Taking on tough opposition, the Maccabees saw 27-0 final scores versus MIT, NYU, BC and Brown in rounds one, two, four and five respectively.
- Yeshiva's lone bright spot came in round three, when the Macs scored three bought wins versus Brandeis. Impressive sword work from Rachel Jian and Beth Glantz notched the points for YU, with the Maccabees falling, 24-3.

Taking only a week between competitions, the Maccabees will travel to Fairleigh Dickinson University on Sunday, Feb. 9th.
