NEW YORK, N.Y. – This week's Yeshiva University Student-Athletes of the Week are senior Batya Schreier of the women's volleyball team, and junior Alex Malech of the men's golf team.

Schreier continues to improve during the course of the season, producing five assists, two digs, and a service ace at John Jay on Tuesday. Later in the week, against Brooklyn College, the Woodmere native slammed home two kills, had a team-high five assists, anchored the defense with four digs, and recorded one block.

Malech led Yeshiva to a Skyline victory over the College at Old Westbury, on Sunday, by shooting a 79. During the match, he birdied the eighth and 15^th holes. Thanks to his strong performance, the West Orange native earned a spot on the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll.
